Actress Eunice Bae returns as Grace Choi, the sharp-tongued wife of Barney, Coop\u2019s long-time friend and business partner. According to her character bio on Apple TV, she was born into wealth and, as Barney\u2019s partner, \u201csees through much of the chaos around them, often offering a stabilising voice in their relationship and social circle\u201d.<\/p>\n

Born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia, Bae was born to South Korean parents who immigrated to the US. Her mother was a visual artist, and Bae trained in dance since she was four, per an episode of the podcast Former Colleagues.<\/p>\n

Bae graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a degree in communication design and photography before moving to New York City to work as a graphic designer and other roles. It wasn\u2019t until one of Bae\u2019s friends encouraged her to attend an open call for the musical Miss Saigon that her career in acting actually kicked off.
