Taking the top spot is Sandbanks in Poole, Dorset, and in tenth place we have Saltdean in East Sussex.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The data has been released alongside information on the ten cheapest seaside towns and areas by house price growth, too, both lists which don&#8217;t feature Cornwall.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Despite St Ives making the list of most expensive seaside towns, it has shown a seven per cent decrease in price based on year-on-year trends. It&#8217;s also the only Cornish town to make the list.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">While property prices rose in eight of the top 10 cheapest seaside towns, that trend has reversed in more costly locations, with eight of the top 10 most expensive seaside towns in Great Britain having recorded house price declines.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">This includes St Ives, which saw a significant 7% drop. Lyme in Dorset also saw a 7% drop and Sidmouth in Devon experienced a 6% decrease.<\/p>\n<p>Top 10 most expensive seaside towns in Britain<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">10.
