Derbyshire police say that a man in his twenties has been taken to hospital after being found with a serious head injury in the early hours of Sunday morning (June 7).<\/p>\n

The force<\/a> is appealing for help from the public and has put out the following statement: “We\u2019re appealing for information after a man was found seriously injured in a Derby road in the early hours of this morning (Sunday, June 7).<\/p>\n

“A report came in just before .:30am today about a man, in his twenties, being found injured in the road in Stafford Street.<\/p>\n

“The man was taken to hospital with a serious head injury and remains there receiving treatment. His family have been made aware and are being supported by officers.<\/p>\n

“We are keen to hear from anyone who was nearby at the time who may have information about how the man came to be injured.”<\/p>\n

Anyone with private CCTV installed in the area, or who was driving with dash cam around the time, is asked to check their footage and contact the polic<\/a>e, should it contain anything which may be useful to officers.<\/p>\n
