The\u00a0first Rolls-Royce all-electric production car, the original\u00a0two-door\u00a0Spectre began deliveries in Australia in\u00a0late 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Spectre II is expected\u00a0to go on sale\u00a0in Australia\u00a0very soon however, delivery timing is yet to be confirmed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Both the Spectre\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0the\u00a0even-higher-performance\u00a0Spectre Black Badge<\/a>\u00a0continue\u00a0as part of the upgrade\u00a0and while physical changes are\u00a0relatively minor\u00a0and centre on things\u00a0like\u00a0new alloy wheels,\u00a0there have\u00a0been some important tech updates.<\/p>\n

Power and torque are\u00a0boosted\u00a0in both models, with the Spectre\u2019s dual-motor\u00a0all-wheel drive\u00a0powertrain now producing\u00a0442kW\/1015Nm\u00a0\u2013\u00a0up\u00a012kW and 115Nm.<\/p>\n

The Black Badge upgrades from 485kW\/1075NM to 500kW\/1100Nm\u00a0(in the right modes), reaffirming its position as the most powerful production\u00a0Rolls-Royce ever.<\/p>\n

Revised battery\u00a0cell technology\u00a0in the\u00a0new\u00a0112.4kWh lithium-ion\u00a0battery\u00a0pack\u00a0has\u00a0increased claimed range by around 18 per cent and reduced charging time by 14 per cent, according to the British marque.<\/p>\n

That translates to a 10\u00a0to\u00a080 per cent top-up\u00a0in\u00a0less than 30 minutes, while claimed\u00a0driving\u00a0range is as much as 628km\u00a0(WLTP).<\/p>\n

Average consumption for both models is rated at 20.2kWh\u00a0per\u00a0100km\u00a0\u2013 not bad considering this thing weighs in at 2925kg and is 5490mm long!<\/p>\n

Like the exterior, the interior\u00a0has been\u00a0subtly revised, but\u00a0personalisation for the\u00a0Spectre II\u00a0has been a big focus for\u00a0this update.<\/p>\n

There\u00a0are\u00a0too many new trims,\u00a0materials\u00a0and paints to go into here, but one good example of\u00a0what\u2019s\u00a0now on offer\u00a0is a Brindled Walnut veneer sourced from non-fruiting trees that would normally\u00a0be\u00a0burned.<\/p>\n

The Road Ahead<\/p>\n

Pricing has been confirmed, with the Rolls-Royce Spectre II starting from $815,000 plus on-road costs, while the Black Badge Spectre is priced from $945,000 (plus ORCs).<\/p>\n

A Rolls-Royce spokesperson confirmed local arrivals are expected in the fourth quarter, with customer commissions now open. First Australian deliveries are scheduled to begin in November.<\/p>\n
