{"id":6061,"date":"2026-04-04T17:35:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-04T17:35:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/6061\/"},"modified":"2026-04-04T17:35:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-04T17:35:08","slug":"leicestershire-school-children-on-britains-got-talent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/6061\/","title":{"rendered":"Leicestershire school children on Britain&#8217;s Got Talent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>                <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aiir-c-news-figure__image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/69d147a50decb.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><br \/>\n                                    Photos from ITV <\/p>\n<p class=\"aiir-c-news-article__abstract\">\n             100 pupils from Braunstone Community Primary School are to appear on Britain\u2019s Got Talent on Saturday 4th\u00a0April 2026.\n        <\/p>\n<p>Families, friends and the wider community &#8211; as well as the children themselves &#8211; will be tuning in to watch their moment in the national spotlight on the hit ITV show.<\/p>\n<p>The children, aged seven to 11, travelled to the auditions last autumn to perform in front of the show\u2019s famous judging panel &#8211; and now their television debut is finally about to be broadcast.<\/p>\n<p>While the exact details of their act remain under wraps until the programme airs, viewers can expect a high-energy performance packed with music, movement and plenty of school spirit as the youngsters take to one of the biggest stages on British television.<\/p>\n<p>At the heart of the performance is their much-loved \u201cMr T\u201d, Halil Tamgumus, whose passion for music and dance has become legendary among pupils.<\/p>\n<p>Now a School Improvement Advisor with Discovery Trust, Halil reunited with 100 of his former students to bring their unique school energy to the national stage.<\/p>\n<p>Last summer, Halil attracted national attention for turning the School into a Friday afternoon dance session to boost wellbeing and engagement \u2013 and that same infectious enthusiasm is something the children were keen to bring to their Britain\u2019s Got Talent experience.<\/p>\n<p>Halil said: \u201cGetting the chance to walk onto that stage together was an unforgettable moment for the children.
