HSBC and Google Cloud have launched a multi-year partnership to build and deploy AI capabilities across the bank\u2019s operations.<\/p>\n
The partnership will supply AI technology to support areas including \u201chyper-personalised\u201d advice and financial crime risk management.<\/p>\n
HSBC said it will work alongside engineering teams at Google Cloud and DeepMind to collaborate on new AI tools and programmes powered by Gemini.<\/p>\n
The bank predicts more than 200 new AI use cases will be enabled over the next two years.<\/p>\n
Among them is an AI-driven insights tool for wealth management that will support the work of HSBC relationship managers.<\/p>\n
It also hopes to deploy generative AI and agentic AI to build a financial crime architecture that detects risks at an earlier stage.<\/p>\n
