Stock picture: PA<\/p>\n<p>Kent Police said officers were called to Western Docks in Dover at 3.11pm alongside other emergency services, and are now carrying out initial enquiries into the circumstances of her death.<\/p>\n<p>A Home Office spokesperson said: \u201cBorder Security Command Maritime responded to a small boat that entered UK waters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn intercepting this boat, a migrant was found to be unresponsive. Despite medical assistance, we are deeply saddened to confirm that they have since died. Stock picture: Gareth Fuller\/PA<\/p>\n<p>A Kent Police spokesperson said: \u201cPolice were called to the Western Docks in Dover at 3.11pm on Saturday June 20. Officers attended along with other emergency services where a woman was confirmed deceased.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWork is ongoing to confirm her identity and contact her next of kin.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They added: \u201cAn investigation was launched and a 32-year-old man from Syria was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
