{"id":70555,"date":"2026-06-25T21:55:12","date_gmt":"2026-06-25T21:55:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/70555\/"},"modified":"2026-06-25T21:55:12","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T21:55:12","slug":"new-age-unilever-holds-workshop-on-environmental-journalism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/70555\/","title":{"rendered":"New Age | Unilever holds workshop on environmental journalism"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>                                              &#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n                             <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"igm-fluid lazy_bk\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/40cedb8b45f4b129b5a4fde0a5d06e76.jpg\" alt=\"Image description\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n                             The Unilever Bangladesh Limited organises a workshop on environmental journalism at the University of Chittagong recently. |  Press release                             &#13;<\/p>\n<p>The Unilever Bangladesh Limited has recently organised a two-day workshop for students of the University of Chittagong to enhance their understanding and skills in environmental journalism.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was arranged as part of the plastic waste management initiative jointly implemented by the Chattogram City Corporation, Unilever Bangladesh and Young Power in Social Action, said a press release.<\/p>\n<p>During the workshop, participating students were introduced to the current state of plastic waste management in Chattogram and the key components of the ongoing initiative.<\/p>\n<p>The sessions also covered the fundamentals of environmental journalism, techniques for reporting on climate change and different aspects of investigative journalism.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the programme, the students joined a field visit where they gained first-hand exposure to school-based awareness activities, household waste segregation practices, the work of informal waste collectors and the safety equipment provided to them under the initiative.<\/p>\n<p>The sessions were conducted by experienced journalists and communication experts.
