At a time when we have seen divisive and regressive decisions taken elsewhere in the country, we recognise the harm that exclusion can and does have on communities. In Camden, we choose progression, and will always champion the visibility of LGBT+ culture in public spaces.

We know that trans people in particular disproportionately face discrimination and vulnerable circumstances. I speak directly to Camden’s trans community and say that Camden Council is on your side and will work to ensure that you feel represented, supported, and that you have a genuine sense of belonging in local life and in the place you call home.

Camden is no place for hate. The Council has zero tolerance for homophobia or transphobia, and we remain committed to challenging discrimination wherever it occurs. During Pride Month and every month of the year, we stand with our LGBT+ communities – as diversity is and will always be Camden’s strength.

‘;

Camden Council staff and councillors will be marching alongside residents and community groups at London Pride this weekend,…

[26
1478,348,27,4197
post-75951","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-london","tag-camden","tag-headlines","tag-london","tag-pr
["GET
