A 22-year-old man who was stabbed to death on a night bus in Hounslow<\/a> has been named and pictured for the first time. Haruun Hassan died on Bath Road after being attacked on the N9 towards Heathrow Airport<\/a> shortly before 1.50am on Tuesday (June 30).<\/p>\n

A murder investigation has been launched at the Metropolitan Police<\/a>, with forensics teams seen gathering evidence along the stretch of A4 throughout Tuesday. Photos taken at the scene<\/a> showed a number of yellow markers set up within a lengthy cordon strewn with first aid equipment and clothing.<\/p>\n

No arrests had been made in connection as of Tuesday afternoon, the Met confirmed in a statement at the time.<\/p>\n

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller, who is leading the investigation said: \u201cOur officers responded quickly with London Ambulance Service and did everything possible to help the victim.<\/p>\n

“Our thoughts remain with his family and friends. This is a fast-paced investigation, and enquiries are ongoing.”<\/p>\n

Investigators believe a number of passengers would have seen the stabbing and are urging them to come forward. Witnesses and residents of nearby houses are also asked to provide CCTV, doorbell, and mobile phone footage.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information or footage is asked to contact police on 101, quoting CAD 0540\/30JUN26. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.<\/p>\n
