made a U-turn on Thursday afternoon<\/a> to allow the country to cheer on Thomas Tuchel\u2019s side from their local boozer or bar, even though the match is kicking off at 1am. <\/p>\nA blanket rule introduced by Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood allowed pubs to stay open for an extended period, but it only applied to games scheduled between 5pm and 10pm. <\/p>\n
But in a move welcomed by England fans, pubs and bars will now be allowed to stay open until 5am as the Three Lions face El Tricolor at the Azteca Stadium.<\/p>\n
However, this does not mean that all pubs will be open. Many will simply be unable to arrange staffing for such a late shift.<\/p>\n
