The 55-year-old presenter was last spotted on the popular ITV<\/a> breakfast programme on Monday, June 22, presenting live coverage of Sir Keir Starmer’s resignation.<\/a><\/p>\n The Prime Minister stood down as Labour<\/a> Party leader in an address delivered outside Number 10 Downing Street, though he will continue in post until the new leadership election concludes.<\/p>\n Sir Keir confirmed he has asked Labour’s ruling body to set out a timetable for selecting his successor, with nominations opening on Thursday, July 9, and closing by the summer recess on Thursday, July 16.<\/p>\n Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid is retruning to GMB(Image: BBC)<\/p>\n After the dramatic GMB instalment, which overran by 30 minutes, Susanna revealed on Instagram that she would be stepping away from presenting while working on “a special project”, reports the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n Nevertheless, Susanna will be back on air with Ed Balls on Monday morning (July 6) as she resumes her GMB duties.<\/p>\n Posting on Instagram on Sunday (July 5), Susanna expressed her enthusiasm about her comeback and questioned whether to watch England’s World Cup match against Mexico, scheduled to begin at 1am on Monday morning, ahead of her early alarm.<\/p>\n Alongside a striking selfie, she posted: “BACK TO WORK! Excited to be back @gmb tomorrow with @edballs – we are just discussing our plans to watch the football without crashing out during the programme.<\/p>\n “I may have to miss the live game and watch the highlights on my way to the studio. How will you be watching? And what’s the plan for work\/school<\/a> afterwards?!”<\/p>\n Fans were quick to express their joy at Susanna’s comeback, with one person writing: “Good to have you back.
