Diageo has revised the appearance of its The Singleton scotch whisky, placing greater emphasis on each flavour profile in the single malt brand\u2019s portfolio.<\/p>\n
The new look, which rolls out to all markets from this month, applies across The Singleton of Dufftown and The Singleton of Glendullan lines from the brand. While the existing salmon logo has been made more prominent, one of the main changes is the application of \u201cclearly defined visual cues [to] help shoppers understand the different flavours\u201d of the brand.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Singleton\u2019s \u2026 slow batch distillation process \u2013 fermenting and distilling the spirit more slowly than most other single malt whiskies \u2013 takes centre stage in the refreshed design,\u201d Diageo said. \u201cMore expressive tasting notes highlight the \u2026 craft behind each expression and the signature of malt master Dr Craig Wilson appears across the range as a mark of the expertise that\u00a0goes into every bottle.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to the brand\u2019s global head, James O\u2019Connor, the project \u201cincorporates packaging changes that support our ongoing efforts to reduce the impact and carbon footprint of our packaging\u201d, although specific details of the environmental benefits were not disclosed.<\/p>\n
