A witness said there was a major police presence at a house throughout the day amid investigations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A teenager, a boy aged 16, remains in custody to be questioned in relation to the incident. The M.E.N understands the victim was related to the suspect.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said in a statement: &#8220;Officers responded to reports of an assault at an address on Ivylea Road, Burnage at around 8am today (08\/07\/26).<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;One woman aged in her 60s sadly died at the scene and a boy, aged 16, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
