<\/p>\nFive people have been taken to hospital following an major emergency services incident at a North Wales retail park.<\/p>\n
Several police cars, ambulances, two air ambulances and rapid response vehicles were deployed to Mostyn Champneys retail park in Llandudno.<\/p>\n
A police cordon was put in place outside McDonalds restaurant on the retail park.<\/p>\n
The Welsh Ambulance Service has confirmed that five people have been taken to hospital.<\/p>\n
An ambulance service spokesperson said: \u201cWe were called today at 10.52 to an incident in Mostyn Champneys Retail Park, Llandudno. We sent one Cymru High Acuity Response Unit, one Duty Operations Manager and three emergency ambulances to the scene. Advanced critical care support was delivered by the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service in two Wales Air Ambulance charity helicopters. Five patients were conveyed by road to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.\u201d<\/p>\n
North North Wales Police have confirned it was a “multi-vehicle collision”.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision which occurred at Mostyn Champneys, Llandudno today (18\/07\/2026).<\/p>\n
“Shortly after 10:50am we received multiple calls regarding a multi-vehicle collision which involved a number of pedestrians. The driver of one of the vehicle’s involved and a number of pedestrians were transported to hospital for further assessment.<\/p>\n
“We are urging anyone who may have witnessed the vehicle being driven prior to the collision or was in the area at the time to contact us. We are also appealing for anyone who may have any dash camera or mobile phone footage of the vehicle being driven prior to the collision to contact us.<\/p>\n
“Anyone with information is asked to contact us via the webchat facility on our website or via 101 quoting reference O115621.<\/p>\n
“We are aware of speculation circulating on social media regarding this incident. We can confirm that this is an isolated incident and there is no risk to the wider public.”<\/p>\n
