A motorcyclist has died after a crash involving a tractor on Monday. The crash occurred on the B5426 near Bangor-on-Dee in Wrexham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Officers were called to the scene alongside paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service just before 2.30pm on Monday, and the road was closed. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

North Wales Police have since issued an appeal for witnesses, asking anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch.<\/p>\n

A police spokesperson said: “Shortly before 2.30pm on Monday, April 6, we responded to a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the B5426 towards Bangor-on-Dee, Wrexham.<\/p>\n

“Emergency services and the air ambulance attended the collision involving a motorcycle and a tractor. The motorcyclist sadly died at the scene. The road was closed while investigations were carried out at the scene.”<\/p>\n

Lead investigating officer, Sergeant Duncan Logan from the serious collision investigation unit, said: “I offer my deepest condolences to the man’s family at this incredibly difficult time. I’d like to personally thank all those who stopped to assist at the scene and support emergency services.<\/p>\n

“I am urging anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have been travelling in the vicinity and has dash cam footage, to come forward as soon as possible.”<\/p>\n
