London EV Company<\/a> (LEVC) has partnered with RAPAID<\/a> Emergency Bandages to expand access to lifesaving first aid kits across the UK\u2019s taxi network.<\/p>\n

Under the initiative, RAPAID emergency bandage kits will be made available in new and approved used TX taxis through LEVC\u2019s national dealer network. More than 5,000 kits are set to be distributed from July 2026, placing critical equipment directly into vehicles operating in towns and cities across the country.<\/p>\n

The move builds on earlier efforts to equip taxis with emergency bandages, as previously reported here<\/a> by Emergency Services Times.<\/p>\n

RAPAID\u2019s aim is to make simple, effective bleed control kits accessible to the public in the crucial minutes before emergency services arrive. The kits are designed to help stem severe bleeding following accidents or incidents, buying vital time until professional help is on scene.<\/p>\n

Taxi drivers are seen as a key part of that response. Operating around the clock and embedded within communities, taxis can act as visible and mobile points of support. Vehicles carrying kits will display a window sticker, fitted by LEVC retailers at the point of sale.<\/p>\n

Each kit contains military-grade bandages, gloves and clear visual instructions, allowing members of the public with no medical training to apply pressure to serious wounds.<\/p>\n

RAPAID has already placed kits in thousands of taxis across cities including London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Oxford and Exeter, with signage helping the public quickly identify equipped vehicles.<\/p>\n
