Customers of three major British banks are reporting problems with accessing their accounts and making transfers.<\/p>\n

Downdetector data suggests hundreds of reports of problems with the high street giants Halifax, Lloyds and Barclays all beginning at about midday.<\/p>\n

One individual reported an error message when trying to send funds from a Lloyd\u2019s credit card from a current account with helplines jammed.<\/p>\n

One customer posted: \u2018Is anyone else having any issues with Lloyds? I can\u2019t get money from the ATM nor make any bank transfers to pay etc. <\/p>\n

\u2018My partner is also having the same issues with her Lloyds account. Their helpline has a 40-minute delay \u2013 so something is definitely not right.\u2019<\/p>\n

A Lloyds representative replied: \u2018We\u2019re investigating an issue affecting Faster Payments, which may cause delays. If you\u2019ve already made a payment, please don\u2019t send it again. Check it has gone through first to avoid duplicate payments.\u2019<\/p>\n

Another user who experienced payment issues with Halifax, wrote: \u2018What is going on? I tried to transfer some money and it kept saying error unable to complete, I tried a few times and got the same message, now it\u2019s done multiple transfers?\u2019<\/p>\n

A representative from Halifax replied to the user to fix the issue.<\/p>\n
