According to new maps from the forecaster, rain is expected to hit Scotland, Northern Ireland, and localised parts of North West England.<\/p>\n<p data-mce-linkchecker-status=\"valid\">While most of England can expect to dodge the rain amid a potential <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" title=\"UK set for heatwave on Wednesday with 7 counties set to bake under 32C\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/weather\/2233587\/uk-set-heatwave-wednesday-7\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fourth heatwave of the year<\/a>, Cumberland and Lancashire can expect showers on Wednesday evening.
