{"id":92462,"date":"2026-07-29T02:34:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-29T02:34:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/92462\/"},"modified":"2026-07-29T02:34:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-29T02:34:08","slug":"hsbc-to-relocate-senior-executive-to-hong-kong-amid-pivot-to-asia-sources","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/britain\/92462\/","title":{"rendered":"HSBC to relocate senior executive to Hong Kong amid pivot to Asia: sources"},"content":{"rendered":"<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">HSBC Holdings will relocate its group chief people and governance officer, Aileen Taylor, from London to Hong Kong later this year, as the lender doubles down on expanding its Hong Kong and Asia operations, according to sources at the bank.<\/p>\n<p>A source told the South China Morning Post that an internal decision to relocate Taylor to Hong Kong had already been made, as part of a push to strengthen the presence of senior executives in Hong Kong \u2013 HSBC\u2019s biggest market and its <a target=\"_self\" class=\"e1yy41x40 ef9u0v01 css-1ankfgb ecgc78b0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scmp.com\/business\/banking-finance\/article\/3344541\/hsbcs-2025-profit-falls-7-beats-estimates-despite-property-woes-madoff-lawsuits?module=inline&amp;pgtype=article\" title=\"\" data-qa=\"BaseLink-renderAnchor-StyledAnchor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">focus of investment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">After Taylor moves to Hong Kong, four of the bank\u2019s 13 group operating committee members will be based in the city.
