The first reports of the incident occurred at 11.30am on Wednesday. Footage from the scene posted on social media show several <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" title=\"Police\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/latest\/police\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">police<\/a>, ambulance and fire vehicles have rushed to the gallery.<\/p>\n<p>Another clip shows The Tate Modern has been evacuated following an incident at the popular museum. One onlooker on X claimed the &#8220;whole building has been closed off&#8221;, as reported by <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mylondon.news\/news\/zone-1-news\/tate-modern-london-incident-live-33732880\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">MyLondon<\/a>. The nature of the incident remains unclear.
