Responding to the launch of the \u201cget Britain drilling\u201d campaign by the leader of the Conservative Party [1], Laura Anderson,\u00a0Senior\u00a0Associate at the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit\u00a0said:<\/p>\n
“More drilling in the North Sea simply won\u2019t bring down bills or shield Scottish households from volatile global prices.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The North Sea is already in decline, and doubling down now ignores where the real opportunity lies.
