Dynasty Gold (TSX-V:DYG) has commenced phase one drilling at its Thundercloud property in Ontario, Canada, targeting resource expansion and new discoveries.
The drill rig has moved to the South Pelham target, where previous hole TC24-06 discovered mineralisation 6m from surface, returning 0.80 grams per tonne gold over 22.5m.
The hole was drilled on the boundary of an induced polarisation chargeability anomaly, with two nearby follow-up holes in 2025 also intersecting near-surface mineralisation.
Current drilling targets a mineralised extension south of the Pelham zone. The company will then move to Pelham Main to test for ‘high-grade’ gold feeder zones and possible downdip extensions of northeast-plunging ‘higher-grade’ shoots.
Dynasty has modelled the shoots using Seequent’s Leapfrog software, aiming to increase the existing NI 43-101 open-pit gold resource at Thundercloud.
The objective of this year’s program is to discover additional mineralisation along the north-south corridor in the central parts of the property and to increase the resource in the Pelham zone.
The Thundercloud Gold Project sits 47km southeast of Dryden in Ontario’s Manitou-Stormy Lake greenstone belt. The company completed an NI 43-101 independent technical report for the project in September 2021.
Dynasty Gold is a Canadian gold explorer advancing the Thundercloud Project in Ontario and the Golden Repeat Project in Nevada, US.
