It’s going to be a stars n’ stripes experience that country rock fans can celebrate when Americana singing star Chris Stapleton brings the All-American Road Show to Vancouver.
An 11 times Grammy-winning, 19 times Country Music Award and 21 times American Country Music Award-winner, the Lexington, Kentucky-born artist left university to immerse himself in the Nashville songwriting scene in 1996. Among the hits he penned for other artists were Kenny Chesney’s No. 1 Never Wanted Nothing More, Luke Bryan’s Drink a Beer and many others.
He ventured out on his own in 2015, with the acclaimed seven times platinum-selling solo debut, Traveller. Featuring his cover of the David Allen Coe outlaw country hit Tennessee Whiskey, the album established Stapleton as one of the biggest country artists around.
Since then, Stapleton has released four more albums, the most recent of which is 2023s Higher. The video for the song White Horse features actor Josh Brolin.
To support his records, Stapleton launched the All-American Road Show Tour in 2017. Each outing under this banner has showcased fellow stars whose music fits Stapleton’s less slick, more Southern rock-style sound. Acts on this tour have ranged from groove rocker Grace Potter, Former Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers lead guitarist Mike Campbell’s crew the Dirty Knobs and many more.
