The Montreal Canadiens have just published an interesting official statement involving several players, including Arber Xhekaj.
The organization has officially provided an update on several Canadiens players for the very first time this summer.
Most notably, Arber Xhekaj.
In St. John’s, Alex Newhook is preparing the third edition of his golf tournament, scheduled for August 4 in support of various local charities.
The event in Newfoundland and Labrador will feature some familiar faces.
So we will be seeing Arber Xhekaj there!
Former Canadiens forward Chris Nilan will also be taking part.
These kinds of gatherings away from the rink really help build relationships that go beyond hockey, and that’s excellent for team chemistry.
Arber Xhekaj continues his offseason on the golf course
On July 13, the ‘Chris Nilan Golf Classic’ also brought together several of these same players at the golf club in Vaudreuil-Dorion.
A day dedicated to a good cause.
The event, supported by the Liam Foundation, helps fund research into mitochondrial diseases.
Seeing players like Kaiden Guhle, Arber Xhekaj, and Florian Xhekaj lend their names to these initiatives can truly make a difference.
The Canadiens’ offseason isn’t just about trade rumors. Between tournaments, a whole group of players is choosing to give back, and that’s something worth highlighting.
