Mercier Bridge

The span of the Mercier Bridge that normally carries traffic to the South Shore remains closed until 5 a.m. Monday, with the other span carrying vehicles in both directions — with only one lane in each direction. The entrance from Airlie St. is also closed.

Victoria Bridge

The eastern lane of the Victoria Bridge remains closed until Sept. 10. As a result, all traffic is on the western lane of the bridge, with traffic toward Montreal allowed between midnight and noon, and traffic toward the South Shore between noon and midnight.

Route 340

In Vaudreuil-Dorion, Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd. will be closed in both directions from 10 p.m. Sunday until the end of October, between de la Gare Blvd. and Jean-Béliveau St. A new roundabout at de la Gare Blvd. is now partially in service.

Highway 520

The entrance from Roméo-Vachon Blvd. south will be closed from 4 a.m. Monday through Nov. 11.

Fireworks

The Jacques-Cartier Bridge will be closed on Thursday between 8 and 11:59 p.m. for the penultimate show of the annual fireworks competition. The Ville-Marie tunnel will be closed to eastbound traffic between Exit 4 and Panet St. from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. The Victoria Bridge is one-way toward the South Shore until 11:30 p.m.

REM

The Réseau express métropolitain will start service at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday for planned work. Shuttle buses will be in effect for some stations.

Continuing disruptions

Highway 40 (Repentigny): Traffic disruptions can be expected along Highway 40 in Repentigny because of repaving work. The Transport Ministry say the work will be done at night to minimize disruptions.

Highway 20 (Beloeil): The entrance to the eastbound highway from Serge-Pepin St. will be closed from Aug. 3 to 17.

Highway 13: In Laval, the southbound lanes are closed for renovation work until the fall between Ste-Rose Blvd. and Highway 440. Southbound traffic is rerouted to the service road, and during the morning rush hour (4-11 a.m.), a contraflow lane will be open on the northbound side for southbound traffic. Additional lanes will be closed overnights during the summer.

Route 340 (Vaudreuil-Dorion): Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd. is closed until the end of August between de la Gare Blvd. and Henry-Ford St. to construct a roundabout. The exit from Highway 30 west to Route 340 is also closed until August. The overpass of Route 340 over Highway 30 is partly closed until November.

Highway 15 (Brossard): Repaving work is taking place on the southbound side of Highway 15 between the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge and the St-Jacques River. The work will continue until the fall and will involve weekend and overnight closings.

Highway 15: Repaving work has begun on the Laurentian Autoroute between Highway 40 and the Médéric-Martin Bridge to Laval, which will involve overnight and weekend lane closings until the end of 2027.

Summer fireworks schedule

The Jacques-Cartier Bridge, Notre-Dame St. east of it, and the Ville-Marie Tunnel eastbound as of de la Montagne St., will be closed as of 8 p.m. on the following evenings for the city’s annual fireworks competition:
