A source to Quinte News says Kayla Boisvert has been found safe in B.C.

A family member told our newsroom she was located overnight and is being treated in hospital.

We will have more details as they come out.

Police have an update in the search for 28-year-old Trenton resident Kayla Boisvert, after she disappeared from British Columbia’s Shambhala Music Festival early Monday morning.  ORIGINAL STORY HERE

 

Investigators say a tip led to a confirmed sighting of the missing paramedic south of Salmo around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

 

The RCMP have released images from the sighting to provide an updated description of what Boisvert was wearing in hopes of locating her. (Photo above)

Prior to the update, she was last seen late Sunday night and reports indicate she had placed two calls to her twin sister, before the phone stopped responding.

Twenty-eight-year-old Kayla Boisvert was last seen on Monday at around 2:15 a.m., at the Shambhala Music Festival in Salmo.

She is described as black, six feet tall, with black hair and long blonde braids.

She is a paramedic with Hastings-Quinte EMS and an experienced festival goer.
