REM

This should be the last weekend of late starts for the Réseau express métropolitain for planned work. Service begins at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday except for the Anse-à-l’Orme branch, which will open at 10 a.m. Shuttle buses will be in effect for some stations.

Highway 20

In Boucherville, the highway is closed eastbound at Montarville Blvd. from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Detour will be via the exit and following entrance. Montarville Blvd. is closed southbound under the highway.

Highway 25

The highway and tunnel are closed in both directions from 11 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday. Southbound the closure starts at Sherbrooke St., and northbound it ends at Yves-Prévost Blvd. Souligny Ave. is also closed eastbound from Dickson St. to Honoré-Beaugrand St. during this time.

Highway 40

In St-Cuthbert, east of Montreal, lanes are narrowed after a sinkhole was discovered in the roadway. Westbound traffic has been diverted to the eastbound side, with lanes only four metres wide in each direction.

Route 116

In Longueuil, the eastbound exit for Chambly Rd. is closed from 5 a.m. Friday to 4 p.m. Saturday. Detour is via Route 112 (Cousineau Blvd.) and local streets.

Mercier Bridge

One of two lanes will be closed on the bridge toward Kahnawake from 3 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Montreal streets

The intersection of St-Patrick and Bridge Sts., and Wellington St. at Bridge St., will be closed between 9 p.m. Friday and 8 p.m. Sunday for work by Hydro-Québec.

Métro

With the Lasso Festival at Jean-Drapeau Park this weekend, bicycles and pets will not be allowed on the Yellow Line after 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Continuing disruptions

Victoria Bridge: The eastern lane remains closed until Sept. 10. All traffic is on the western lane of the bridge, with traffic toward Montreal allowed between midnight and noon, and traffic toward the South Shore between noon and midnight.

Highway 13: In Laval, the southbound lanes are closed for renovation work until the fall between Ste-Rose Blvd. and Highway 440. Southbound traffic is rerouted to the service road, and during the morning rush hour (4-11 a.m.), a contraflow lane will be open on the northbound side for southbound traffic. Additional lanes will be closed overnights during the summer.

Highway 15: Repaving work has begun on the Laurentian Autoroute between Highway 40 and the Médéric-Martin Bridge to Laval, which will involve overnight and weekend lane closings until the end of 2027.

Highway 15 (Brossard): Repaving work is taking place on the southbound side of Highway 15 between the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge and the St-Jacques River. The work will continue until the fall and will involve weekend and overnight closings.

Highway 20 (Beloeil): The entrance to the eastbound highway from Serge-Pepin St. is closed until Aug. 17.

Highway 40 (Repentigny): Traffic disruptions can be expected because of repaving work. The Transport Ministry says the work will be done at night to minimize disruptions.

Route 340 (Vaudreuil-Dorion): In Vaudreuil-Dorion, Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd. is closed in both directions until the end of October, between de la Gare Blvd. and Jean-Béliveau St. A new roundabout at de la Gare Blvd. is now partially in service. The overpass of Route 340 over Highway 30 is partly closed until November.

Highway 520: The entrance from Roméo-Vachon Blvd. south (from the airport toward Highway 20 west) is closed through Nov. 11.
