Thee Sacred Souls poured their hearts out at Vancouver’s PNE Forum for the “Constellation Tour.” The California natives made their highly anticipated stop, marking their return after a sold-out show at the Commodore Ballroom last year, and this time around in a bigger venue, with their fans almost filling it.
Vancouver was the third date of the tour, and opening for them was the up-and-coming soul sensation The Womack Sisters, who surprised the crowd with their high vocal range, along with the combination of soul and R&B.
They performed songs from their self-titled freshman album, which will be released in a few days.
LA LOM was the second act to hop on the stage. The instrumental band showed their variety of rhythms on top of the rock base. They made the fans dance with some rumba, cumbia and other tropical sounds.
Thee Sacred Souls opened their set with “Love Comes Easy,” and from there the environment of the venue was filled with love. While performing “Will I See You Again?,” lead singer Josh Lane jumped to the barricade and sang most of the song next to the fans, making a memorable experience for those who arrived early to the PNE Forum even more special.
The night continued with songs like “We Don’t Have to Be Alone,” “My Heart Is Drowning,” “On My Mind,” and “Future Lover” to close the set. The fans did not leave the venue and stayed shouting “one more song” for about three minutes, and the band had to return for an encore of “Live for You” and “Can I Call You Rose?.”
