We’re highlighting some of the biggest and most innovative cleanup projects in Canada for the second annual Top 25 Remediation Projects Report. The projects are ranked, quite simply, in order of investment.
“While this list serves primarily as a snapshot of top projects, the multi-stakeholder teams, and their price tags,” says Connie Vitello, Editor of Environment Journal, “it also provides valuable insight into the complexity and diversity of remediation approaches across the country.”

Connie will be sharing the highlights of the inaugural report at the upcoming Remediation Technologies Symposium (RemTech) in Banff, Alberta on October 14 – 16, 2026.
