In production since 2024, with the assembly taking place in Mexico, Brazil, and Japan, the Nissan Kicks has now entered the 2027 model year. The company’s Canadian arm has just released the pricing and specifications for the entire range, announcing that the Rock Creek trim level has joined the family.
Joining the Rogue Rock Creek and Pathfinder Rock Creek, the 2027 Nissan Kicks Rock Creed is a standalone trim level that features some exclusive gizmos. For instance, the upper grille is on the special side of things, it sports glossy black trim on the outside, including the door mirror casings, has amber daytime running lights (DRLs) and accent lighting, a glossy black look for the front and rear lower fascias, and a set of unique 17-inch wheels.
The all-wheel drive system is standard on this model, thus enhancing its adventurous spirit (it’s not a real off-roader, though), and benefits from a few enhancements on the inside. Here, the automaker mentions stuff such as the specific TailorFit upholstery with accent stitching, a TailorFit-wrapped steering wheel with a heating function, and Rock Creek branding on the floor mats.
Compared to the regular SV, on which it builds, the Rock Creek also has ambient lighting, an HD Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, and Rear Automatic Braking.
Price-wise, the 2027 Nissan Kicks family starts at CA$27,798 (equal to US$20,160) for the base S trim level, whereas the SV comes from CA$29,548 (US$21,430). Both are offered with front-wheel drive, whereas the all-wheel drive system is a CA$2,300 (US$1,670) option.

The SV Premium AWD and Rock Creek AWD start at CA$32,648 (US$23,680) and CA$33,948 (US$24,620), respectively, and for the SR AWD, you will have to fork out at least AU$34,348 (US$24,910). The SR Premium AWD tops the family, and has an MSRP of CA$35,998 (US$26,105) north of the US border. Pricing excludes destination and handling charges, tax, title, license, and options.
Nissan’s base 2027 Kicks S features 16-inch steel wheels with covers wrapped in 215/65 all-season tires, manual folding side mirrors with heating function, black door handles, body-colored and chrome-looking grille, a rear spoiler, LED headlights, DRLs, and taillights, high-beam assist, and LED turn signals.
Other features include the cloth upholstery, heated front seats, a multi-function steering wheel, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone integration, SiriusXM with a 90-day trial, Siri Eyes Free, a 7-inch digital gauge cluster, a 12-volt outlet, rearview monitor, power windows and door locks, intelligent cruise control, remote keyless entry, manual air conditioning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, etc.
Upgrading to the 2027 Nissan Kicks SV will get you 17-inch steel wheels with covers wrapped in 215/60 tires, a tire repair/inflation kit, body-colored door handles, rear privacy windows, roof rails, a heated steering wheel, a wireless charging pad, double stitching (gold/gray), LED interior lights, passenger seatback pockets, automatic climate control, remote engine start, and a few other bits and bobs.
The Rock Creek version of the 2027 Nissan Kicks sports exclusive 17-inch alloys, a spare wheel and tire, door mirrors with integrated turn signals, a painted grille, amber DRL and LED signature lamp, Rock Creek leatherette with Ballistic Nylon seating, a rear seat armrest, TailorFit-wrapped steering wheel, intelligent around view monitor with moving object detection, rear automatic braking, and others.

Finally, the top of the line trim, namely the SR, has 17-inch alloys shod in 215/60 all-season tires, LED signature lamp, sport leatherette upholstery with red/black cloth insert, a superior six-speaker sound system upgradable to a Bose unit as an option, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, sliding sun visors with illuminated vanity mirrors, double stitching (red/gray), carbon fiber instrument panel finisher, ambient lighting, and a sunglasses holder.
Moreover, this version also features rear sonar, lane departure prevention, blind spot intervention, emergency lane keep assist, front parking assist, intersection assist (oncoming), traffic sign recognition, integrated dynamic-control module, and the ProPilot assist.
All versions of the 2027 Nissan Kicks pack the same engine, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit making 141 horsepower (143 ps/105 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 140 pound-feet (190 Nm) of torque at 4,000 rpm. It can be revved up to 6,000 rpm, and is paired with an Xtronic transmission that channels the power either to the front wheels or both axles, depending on the configuration. FWD models have Normal, Eco, and Sport driving modes, and the AWD versions add the Snow mode, whereas the Rock Creek has a dedicated off-road mode.
The fuel tank has a 45-liter (gallon) capacity, and the FWD models return 8.1 l/100 km (29 mpg US) in the city, 6.6 l/100 km (35.6 mpg) on the highway, and 7.4 l/100 km (31.8 mpg) combined. The AWD variants return 8.5 l/100 km (27.7 mpg) in the city, 6.9 l/100 km (34.1 mpg) on the highway, and 7.8 l/100 km (30.2 mpg) combined.
The second-gen Nissan Kicks shares its nuts and bolts with the Juke, Note, Renault Symbioz, Captur II, Clio VI, Mitsubishi ASX, and others.
