The Sûreté du Québec are asking for the public’s help in finding a 18-year-old woman who was allegedly taken by her biological parents Thursday.
Cassandra Levasseur of Ste-Thérèse was last seen around 3:45 p.m. on Lecompte Street.
Her parents “allegedly forced her into a dark blue 2018 Nissan Rogue with a panoramic sunroof and chrome door handles,” police said in statement issued Friday. It has a Quebec license plate Z71 YZZ.

“There are reasons to fear for her health and safety. She may be vulnerable,” the SQ said.
Levasseur stands five feet, five inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds. She has long dark brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen black pants and a blue-green short-sleeve shirt.
Her biological mother is 61-year-old Brigitte Lussier. She is five feet, four inches tall and weigh 130 pounds. She is white and has grey hair. She was last seen wearing a black and red cap, dark sunglasses, a navy blue coat, black pants, and dark boots.
Her biological father, Luc Levasseur, is 63 years old. He is white, has grey hair and brown eyes.
Police are asking anyone who sees Levasseur, her parents or the vehicle to call 911.
