A $10,000 lottery prize is waiting to be claimed, but the clock is ticking for whoever holds the winning ticket.
Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) says there are just two weeks left to claim the $10,000 Encore prize from the Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025 Lotto 6/49 draw.
The winning ticket was sold in Brampton and carries the Encore selection 6 – 0 – 7 – 8 – 8 – 1 – 2.
To win the $10,000 prize, players had to match the first six of the seven Encore numbers in the exact order.
The winner has one year from the draw date to claim the prize, meaning the deadline is fast approaching.
OLG is currently reporting 21 unclaimed lottery prizes across Ontario, including the Brampton Encore ticket.
Anyone who believes they purchased the winning ticket — or may have misplaced it — should contact OLG Customer Care at 1-800-387-0098. Players should be prepared to provide details about where and when the ticket was purchased as part of OLG’s prize verification process.
OLG offers several ways for players to check their tickets, including scanning them with the OLG App, checking winning numbers on OLG.ca, calling the OLG WIN! Line at 1-866-891-8946, or visiting a lottery retailer and using a self-serve ticket checker.
OLG also recommends that players sign their tickets immediately after purchasing them and keep them in a safe place until after the draw.
