As 16 NHL teams compete in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, who’s supporting the hockey stars from the sidelines? Their wives and girlfriends, of course.
The partners (often called WAGS) of athletes like Connor McDavid, Nick Suzuki and Brendan Gallagher are stepping up to cheer for their loved ones, and they’re making sure to do so in style. Since the playoffs began on April 18, the women have been sharing their latest custom-made WAG jackets, an annual tradition many of them have reportedly been doing since 2017.
Keep scrolling to see some of the WAG jackets we’ve seen during the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs. From brown suede zip-ups featuring the signatures of players to black leather coats with intricate embroidery, these are the looks you need to see.

Emma Fortin, the significant other of Brendan Gallagher, took to her Instagram Stories on Friday ahead of the Montreal Canadiens’s match against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The group photos showed several WAGs of the Habs all wearing white jackets with red-and-white sleeves.
On the back, the coast featured “Habs” written in cursive font, along with the numbers of each player and the team’s name at the bottom.
Ottawa Senators
WAGs of the Ottawa Senators went with Vancouver-based designer and The Dirty Denim Shop founder Jordi Lutsky for their playoff jackets. The maroon-coloured suede coats featured the team name on the upper back, maple leaves and an intricate design of the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill inside the letter “O.” Each player’s last name is also featured on the back of the collar.
“It’s been such a pleasure working with the wives and girlfriends of the Ottawa Senators to create these 2026 playoff jackets for them!” Lutsky wrote in an Instagram video showing off her designs.
Edmonton Oilers
Connor McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle, took to her Instagram Stories this week to share a few snapshots of the jackets she made for the WAGs of the Edmonton Oilers. Created through her label, Sports Club Atelier, the back of the brown-and-beige design featured the team’s name embossed above embroidered lettering of each player’s last name; the black collar also showed off the signature of the particular player on the front.
While the WAGs were seen wearing these jackets on their way to the Oilers’ Monday night game against the Anaheim Ducks, the women also have a second option to wear. That look resembles a windbreaker, featuring the team’s signature blue with white striping on the sleeves and lettering on the back.
Carolina Hurricanes
Lauren Kyle’s Sports Club Atelier also created the jackets for the WAGs of the Carolina Hurricanes. The look featured a burgundy leather jacket with the last name of each player and “Canes” written on the back, patches on the sleeve and “Carolina” written on the chest.
Shayne Gostisbehere’s wife, Gina, told CBS 17 the WAGs were going for a “quiet luxury” look and that Lauren Kyle and her team “nailed” the design in one take.
“Since this has been eight straight years that we’ve gone to the playoffs, things are getting a little repetitive with the red and black jackets going back and forth, so this year, we wanted to do something a little different,” Gina Gostisbehere shared, adding the other WAGs are happy and excited to wear the oversized jacket.
Dallas Stars
Kate Seguin, the wife of Canadian forward Tyler Seguin, shared a clip of herself showing off the suede-and-leather jacket created by Sports Club Atelier for the Dallas Stars’ WAGs. The emerald green coat featured the team’s name and Western-style fringe on the back. On the front, the look was complete with “Stars” on the chest, along with the player’s last name and number.
Buffalo Sabres
Sports Club Atelier also created one of the jackets for the WAGs of the Buffalo Sabres. The team’s official X account shared group photos of the black leather design. The look stuck with a classic biker jacket style, choosing to boldly display their player numbers on the front and “Sabres” on the back in gold lettering.
Tom Barnett New York created another design for the WAGs, also opting for a black jacket. The look featured various patches, along with the player’s last name and number on the back in bold red lettering.
“For the season that excites, complete with details that endure. Our pleasure to bring these jackets to life for the women who cheer the loudest. Buffalo has it made,” the company posted on Instagram.
Utah Mammoth
The Utah Mammoth took to social media on Friday to share the jackets its players’ WAGs and children are wearing. Each black jacket is personalized, featuring each player’s last name on the chest on top of the city’s name in large font. The back of the look features the team’s name and each player’s number, and the jacket also includes the initials of each player’s partner.
“Utah has been nothing but amazing since the minute we stepped foot in the state,” Claire Crouse, the wife of Canadian winger Lawson Crouse, said in a video, adding she worked with the team’s senior designer, Victoria Stark, and opted for leather and suede for the jackets of the women, and only leather for the children’s design.
Anaheim Ducks
Florence Viel, the wife of Canadian forward Jeffrey Viel, gave fans a sneak peek of the WAGs jacket for the Anaheim Ducks. She said the women can’t wear them until the team’s first home game against the Oilers on April 24, but the design appears to feature an off-white coat with various patches, “Anaheim” embroidered by the pocket, a born corduroy collar and the player’s last name and number.
Pittsburgh Penguins
The WAGs of the Pittsburgh Penguins leaned into the team’s branding with their jackets, created by fashion designer Ashley Harris. The look was shared on social media by Madison Brazeau, the wife of Canadian right winger Justin Brazeau.
The jacket featured the team’s iconic black and yellow colours, with the logo enlarged on the centre of the coat. It also resembled a jersey on the back, featuring each player’s last name and number in yellow font.
Los Angeles Kings
Fashion brand Tiny Turnip created the jackets for the WAGs of the Los Angeles Kings, opting for a black leather jacket with the logo and each player’s last name on the back. The sleeves featured white stars, stripes and player numbers near the cuff.
Tampa Bay Lightning
Fashion designer Kevin Leonel showed off his creation for the Tampa Bay Lightning playoffs jacket. The look featured blue, grey and black sections, including the team’s logo on the chest and the team’s name written in cursive on the back.
Colorado Avalanche
The WAGs of the Colorado Avalanche are donning a white jacket that was also created by Lauren Kyle McDavid’s Sports Club Atelier. Nikola Mertlová, the partner of Czech forward Martin Nečas, shared the jacket on TikTok.
The oversized design featured the team’s logo on the back, a number patch on the front and epaulets on the shoulders.
Boston Bruins
The fiancée of Canadian defenceman Jonathan Aspirot showed off the Boston Bruins WAGs jacket on social media. The cream-coloured coat featured an understated design in an oversized fit.
On the back, the last name of each player was embroidered in white, along with their number. The sleeve also showed off that player’s signature, and their number also appeared on the chest.
