Winnipeg police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 78-year-old man who hasn’t been seen since early Saturday morning.
Thomas Lakie, 78, was last seen near Wilkes Avenue and Waverley Street around 4 a.m. on Saturday, police said in a Silver Alert notice on Saturday afternoon.
It’s possible he may be in the Crestview neighbourhood, police said.
Police describe Lakie as five feet eight inches tall, with a medium build, grey hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt, green cargo sweatpants and brown running shoes with beige soles.
