BRIAN ARNOLD
With unwavering strength and resilience, Dad’s battle has drawn to a close, and he has found eternal peace, free from pain and surrounded by the love he shared with all of us. He passed away on the morning of September 1, 2026.
He was predeceased by the love of his life Janet, as well as his parents Gordon and Elsie Arnold, his brother Wayne Arnold and mother and father-in-law Bridie and Stan Brown.
His life revolved around his daughters Shannon and Jamie, who were his greatest treasures, and his beloved grandchildren, Hailey, Braylon and Ryan, who filled his heart with immeasurable joy. They all now carry the immense honour of preserving his cherished memories as they navigate the world without him. Brian will also be missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law Don (Melody), Carol (Steve), Stanley (Tracy), and his nieces and nephews.
Dad had a remarkable career with the Canada Revenue Agency, taking immense pride in his work and the business degree he earned. His unwavering dedication and hard work provided a stable foundation for his family, a testament to his commitment to those he loved.
After two decades of missing his beloved wife Janet, he is finally reunited with her, bringing a sense of peace to those who knew their enduring love. A devoted caregiver, he selflessly supported not only his parents, but also Janet, his children, and finally his cherished grandchildren. He found immense joy and solace in being the world’s greatest Papa, nurturing the next generation with love and wisdom.
Dad had a passion for travel, creating beautiful memories with Janet and the family. From weekend trips to Grand Forks or Minneapolis all the way to Florida. Las Vegas held a special place in his heart. It was his favourite destination, where he delighted in the thrill of the slots. You could always find Dad happy at Club Regent or McPhillips Street Station during his retirement.
Dad taught us that family is everything. He believed that if you couldn’t count on your family, what did you truly have? His legacy lives on in the bonds we share, and we will always have each other.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the many nurses, doctors and other staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital who cared for Dad so compassionately in his final days. Special thanks to Dr. Mazurat and nurse Andrea.
Dad, you fulfilled your purpose with unwavering love and dedication, and now your earthly journey is complete. We take comfort in knowing you are with us in spirit, guiding us from above.
