Where visitors should buy tickets

Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets directly through the official Wilder Institute’s Calgary Zoo website at calgaryzoo.com.

The zoo also partners with trusted online travel agencies. Tickets purchased directly through those authorized sources are valid.

Anyone searching online for admission is being urged to check the website address carefully before entering payment information and to be cautious of sites that imitate the zoo’s official website or advertise tickets through unauthorized channels.

What to do if you already bought a ticket

Anyone who believes they purchased tickets through an unauthorized website should contact their payment provider or financial institution as soon as possible.

They are advised to report the transaction and ask about available options.

Guests who are unsure whether a ticket is legitimate can contact the zoo’s Guest Relations team at 403-232-9300 for help verifying its authenticity or with ticket purchasing.

The advisory does not name the unauthorized sites or specify how many have been identified beyond saying there are multiple. It also does not say how many people have reported purchasing tickets through them.
