The Alberta Marlin Aquatic Club was represented in Winnipeg over the weekend.
The local swim club sent three qualified competitors to the Best of the West Fest, racing against clubs from across Western Canada.
Caen McWilliams (16): Finished 11th in 200m Back Prelim, 19th in 100m Back Prelim, 21st in 50m Fly Prelim and 23rd in 50m Back Prelim.
Lily McWilliams (14): Finished frist in 50m Free Swim off (New 15y/o Provincial Champ/Western Time), ninth in 100m Free Prelim, 11th in 50m free Prelim and 15th in 200m Free Prelim.
Masao Mori (14): Finished second in four races, the 200m Fly Prelim, 200m Fly Final (New Club Record, Provincial Champ Open Time and 16y/o Western Time), 400m Free Prelim and 400m Free Final (New Club Record, Provincial Champ Open Time and 16y/o Western Time)
Mori also finished fourth in three races, 50m Fly Prelim, 100m Fly Prelim and 100m Fly Final (New 16y/o Western Time), sixth in three races, the 50m Fly Final (New 14y/o Western Time), 100m Free Final (New Club Record, New 14y/o Western Time) and 400m IM Prelim, seventh in 400m IM Final and eighth in 100m Free Prelim.
Next up for AMAC swim club is the LASC Spring classic in Lethbridge.
