Toronto. A shooting incident occurred at a restaurant near famous Indian comedian Kapil Sharma’s ‘Caps Cafe’ in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.
This incident near the ‘Chai Sutta Bar’ outlet has raised serious concerns about Kapil Sharma’s safety.
Immediately after the incident, a post was made public on social media from a Facebook account named Tyson Bishnoi Jora Sidhu, issuing death threats to both Kapil Sharma and the cafe owner. In the post, the gang warned Kapil Sharma to ‘come in line,’ indicating that the cafe would face a similar fate if he did not comply.
This is not the first incident where Kapil Sharma’s cafe has been targeted. Attacks have been continuously occurring at his cafe since 2025.
The first shooting occurred on July 10, 2025, just a few days after the cafe opened. Subsequently, on August 7, 2025, multiple rounds of firing took place again at the same location. Individuals linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi network claimed responsibility for the third attack in October 2025 via social media.
This latest incident confirms that the Bishnoi gang is continuously pursuing Kapil and that this is a planned series of events.
According to the gang’s claim, the Lawrence Bishnoi network became angry with Kapil Sharma after he invited Bollywood actor Salman Khan to the public event of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’.
Gang members had previously warned that anyone working with or supporting Salman Khan would have to face the consequences. It is understood that Kapil’s cafes and commercial establishments were targeted because he showed respect to Salman.
Kapil Sharma has previously spoken about the repeated firing incidents at his cafe. While releasing the trailer of his film ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’, he had questioned Canada’s security system and police administration. He alleged that the local laws and the police did not have sufficient power to prevent such violent incidents.
