There’s a new spot for veggie lovers to try in Brampton with the opening on a new vegetarian burger, shawarma and salad eatery.

Vegholic opened its doors in Brampton late last month, promising entirely plant-based meals packed with “unapologetic flavour that hits exactly the way you expect meat and chicken to hit.”

The chain’s updated menu includes burgers like the Buffalo Crispy Chick’n Burger (made with a chickpea patty) and The Prime Plant Burger (made with a plant-based patty), and shawarma made with jackfruit and plant-based meat alternatives.

They also have rice, salad bowls, and sharables like cauliflower bites and veg nuggets.

The company is expanding from its downtown Toronto locations, and says Brampton “is a city full of culture, flavour, and people who take their food seriously” and “felt like the natural next step for Vegholic.”

“This is a city that deserves a dining experience as vibrant and diverse as the people in it,” Vegholic says.

Vegholic is open at 320 Main St. N. in Brampton, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Visit www.vegholic.com for more information.
