The Blogs: Liberal Migration, Islamic Extremism, and the Surge of Antisemitism in Canada | William Barclay

Recently, B’nai Brith Canada released its flagship Annual Audit of Antisemitic Incidents and, sadly, revealed that Jew-hatred has continued to assault Canadian society over the course of the past year.
In fact, B’nai Brith’s Annual Audit of Antisemitic Incidents explicitly reiterates that “Canada is in the throes of a national crisis of antisemitism” and that “the rise [in antisemitic incidents] recorded in 2025 was second only to the surge that followed the October 7 Hamas-led terror attacks.”

Unfortunately, despite the fact that Jew-hatred has certainly continued to vividly disfigure Canadian society since October 7th and throughout 2025, it is evident that the outbreak of antisemitism in Canada is not some modern phenomenon or merely a consequence of Hamas’ most recent atrocity against the nation of Israel.

Rather, it is clear that antisemitism has become endemic throughout Canadian society over the course of the past decade, due to the fact that the Liberal government’s lax migration policies have permitted radical Islamic ideology to become commonplace in Canada.

Throughout the modern era, the Liberal government has overwhelmingly failed to secure Canada’s borders or at all regulate the influx of international migration into Canadian society. In fact, even Canada’s disgraced former Prime Minister himself, Justin Trudeau, has been forced to concede that, since 2015, illicit migrants and “bad actors…have been exploiting [Canada’s provinces and] immigration system for their own interests.”
As a result, innumerable illegitimate migrants who espouse values that inherently contradict Canada’s foundational national ideology have been permitted to immigrate within Canadian society. In particular, countless Islamic extremists and terrorists have penetrated deeply within the Canadian nation, specifically because of the inane and inadequate migration policies that have been imposed upon the Canadian state by its Liberal government.

Therefore, radical Islamic ideology has become re-entrenched within Canadian society throughout the Liberal era.

For example, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) itself has confirmed that, since 2015, radical Islamic ideology and extremism have become increasingly prevalent in Canada. In fact, Quebec’s Education Department has recently “revoked the teaching licenses” for 11 staff members at a Montreal elementary school after “a group of teachers, many of North African descent, created a hostile environment by yelling at, humiliating, and imposing their religious views on students and staff at Bedford school.”
Moreover, CSIS reports that, since 2023, “the RMVE threat, and the threat of a domestic lone-actor attack in Canada, increased significantly” and that “multiple RMVE adherents [have been] arrested in Canada for terrorism-related offenses. They were mainly motivated by the conflicts in the Middle East, inspired by Daesh, and planned to carry out an attack either alone or as part of a small group.”
Even Canada’s national police service, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), has confirmed that, over the course of 2024 alone, “terrorism charges laid in Canada jumped 488%” and Canadian police “foiled six terrorist plots…with arrests spanning from Edmonton to Ottawa to Toronto.” Worse still, ISIS/Daesh “remains the most significant threat to Western interests” and its extremist narrative now informs “a new generation of extremists” in Canada.
Unfortunately, one of the cornerstones of any radical Islamic ideology or fundamentalism is an Amalekite desire to genocide the Jewish people.

Therefore, as radical Islamic ideology and fundamentalism have steadily flooded into Canada over the past decade, the Canadian state has summarily become fraught with antisemitism and Jew-hatred.

For instance, in 2025, Canadian society was disfigured by “6,800 incidents of antisemitism” or “18.6 incidents, on average, each day.” In addition, gunshots have been fired into various Jewish schools, multiple historic synagogues have been firebombed, and countless vulnerable Jewish people have been savagely attacked.
Furthermore, from 2015 to 2025, the number of antisemitic incidents recorded in Canada has surged by over 430%. Sadly, violent antisemitism and Jew-hatred in particular have skyrocketed and, according to B’nai Brith Canada, 2026 is already easily the “most violent year in recent memory for Canada’s Jews.”
In fact, over 100 Jewish organizations and communities across Canada have already been collectively targeted with a bomb threat, and even the Integrated Terrorism Assessment Centre (ITAC) itself has emphatically confirmed that Canada will “experience a lone-wolf terror attack soon…and antisemitism [will] overwhelmingly [be] the motivating factor.”

Sadly, although a vicious species of antisemitism has continued to mar Canadian society throughout 2025, it is evident that the ongoing effusion of Jew-hatred in Canada is not a modern abnormality or merely a result of the Israel-Palestine Conflict’s most recent upheaval.

Rather, it is clear that antisemitism has become endemic throughout Canadian society over the course of the past decade, due to the fact that the Liberal government’s lax migration policies have permitted radical Islamic ideology to become commonplace in Canada.

More importantly, despite their own earnest desire to champion the liberal ideal and embrace a plurality of ideas and people within Canadian society, it is readily apparent that the Canadian people must begin to confront the uncomfortable reality that it is impossible for orthodox Islamic ideology and fundamentalism to exist peaceably within any state that is itself a happy home to the Jewish people.

In truth, any democratic nation that embraces orthodox Islamic ideology and Islamic fundamentalism within its society inevitably courts its own collapse.
