Construction is now underway at all eight stations along the 16-kilometre extension of the Expo Line in British Columbia connecting Surrey and Langley. The SkyTrain stations project, carried out by ACCIONA, as part of South Fraser Station Partners, includes the design and construction of eight stations, three transit exchanges, and nine power substations that will support the future operation of the line.
The milestone reflects continued progress on one of the largest transit infrastructure projects currently under construction in British Columbia. The Surrey Langley SkyTrain project will extend the Expo Line from King George Station in Surrey to Langley City Centre, improving transit connectivity for rapidly growing communities across the region.
Station foundation work has now been completed at six stations, with work continuing at 152 Street Station and beginning at Willowbrook Station. Vertical construction is also advancing at Fleetwood and Green Timbers stations, where above-ground station structures are now visibly taking shape.
Significant progress is also being made across the broader project corridor. Guideway foundation construction is now nearly 90% complete, while approximately 75% of guideway columns have already been built. In addition, more than five kilometres of elevated guideway segments have been installed, supported by the project’s precast concrete facility in South Surrey, which has produced half of the segments required for the project.
At the same time, more than 12 kilometres of underground duct bank infrastructure have been completed, and track installation activities began in late April 2026, marking a further step forward in the delivery of the line.
Once complete, the Surrey Langley SkyTrain extension will provide faster and more reliable transit service between Langley City Centre and downtown Vancouver, while supporting reduced congestion, expanded active transportation options, and new opportunities for housing and economic development around future station areas.

In Ontario, ACCIONA is part of a consortium contracted by Metrolinx to design and build the westward extension of Toronto’s Line 5 Eglinton light rail, adding approximately 9.2 kilometres of track and seven new stations.
