The 2026 Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF) was held in Edmonton May 23 to 30.

Participants were invited to witness the future of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) through the eyes of our youth — from groundbreaking research to inventive solutions, each project at the CWSF is a window into the incredible potential of our nation’s young scientists.

Minister of Jobs and Economic Growth Ravi Kahlon says he is proud of BC’s young scientists at the 2026 Canada-Wide Science Fair.

BC earned platinum, gold, silver and bronze medals and scholarships.

Kahlon offered huge congrats to two Surrey students who are medalists from the South Fraser region:
