Two people have died following a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck north of Winnipeg on Saturday.

Selkirk RCMP responded to the two-vehicle crash at approximately 1:14 p.m. at the intersection of Provincial Road 320 and the access road to Highway 4 in the RM of St. Andrews.

Police say a large group of motorcycles was travelling north on Breezy Point Road when one motorcycle attempted to turn west onto the Highway 4 access road and was struck by a southbound pickup truck.

The motorcycle’s driver, a 66-year-old Winnipeg man, and his passenger, a 65-year-old Winnipeg woman, were both pronounced deceased at the scene.

The pickup truck driver, a 26-year-old man from the RM of St. Andrews, wasn’t injured.

RCMP continue to investigate.
