This weekend—the CCA Bazaar is Montreal’s best-curated market, and it takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026

This weekend, it’s one of Montreal’s best outdoor markets, and it lasts only one day.

The Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) is at the end of a small street lined with two-story brick buildings, with the backs of the buildings across the street exposed and covered in climbing ivy that winds around the iron railings of the balconies.

The Center, which is currently under construction, is a large, pearl-gray rectangular building surrounded by very green, perfectly manicured grass. Right next to it, the Motherhouse of the Grey Sisters of Montreal is almost hidden behind tall railings overgrown with large ferns.

It is on its large, well-maintained lawn that the CCA will set up its Bazaar on September 12, 2026, and it’s an outdoor market worthy of the most intellectual and chic crowds—this is where we’ll buy our back-to-school books, which will make us more sophisticated and smarter, and everything else.

THE CCA 2026 BAZAAR

At the Bazaar, there will be books from the CCA’s beautiful and highly specialized bookstore, as well as records, flowers, really cool ceramics, and magazines you can’t find anywhere else.

The CCA will also be parting with archives, frames, and materials from its exhibitions…

The following will be present at the Bazaar:

La Rama Records @laramarecords

ARC Montreal @arcmtl

Ville-Marie Eco-Neighborhood by Peter McGill @ecoquartierpetermcgill

Posy Ferme Florale @posyfermeflorale

Café Pas de Problème

In addition to the market, the CCA’s exhibitions will be open to the public free of charge, and there will be a family activity where participants can build a “pop-up” cardboard model of the CCA building.

There will also be a donation drive for the organization RÉSILIENCE MONTRÉAL. Please bring warm clothing, non-perishable food items, or items from this list. A city is also a community where we must help one another.
