The County of Prince Edward municipal offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 1 for Canada Day.<\/p>\n

Offices will reopen on Thursday, July 2 at 8:30 am.<\/p>\n

Garbage and recycling collection
The garbage, green bin and recycling collection schedule will temporarily change due to the Canada Day holiday from June 29 to July 1.<\/p>\n

There will be no collection on Wednesday, July 1. Please find your regular collection date on the left and the corresponding temporary collection date on the right. Regular collection will resume on Thursday, July 2.<\/p>\n

Residents must have their garbage, green bin, and properly sorted blue boxes out to the curb by 7 am to ensure pickup. If your recycling collection is missed on collection day, please call 1.866.358.3560. If your garbage collection is missed, call 613.476.2148 extension 1023. Visit\u00a0https:\/\/e360s.ca\/service-updates\/<\/a>\u00a0for information on delays or changes in collection schedules.<\/p>\n

Garbage bags must be tightly sealed and weigh no more than 40lbs when filled. All bags must have a visible tag. To review the Waste Management By-law, please\u00a0click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Landfill and transfer stations
The landfill and transfer stations\u2019 operating hours will not be impacted by the holiday and will run as scheduled Saturday, June 27, Wednesday, July 1, and Saturday, July 4.<\/p>\n

Recreation Centres
The Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street) and the Wellington and District Community Centre (111 Belleville Street) will be closed on Wednesday, July 1.<\/p>\n

Both community centres and the walking track at the WDCC will return to the regular schedule of Monday \u2013 Friday, 8 am \u2013 4 pm on Thursday, July 2.<\/p>\n

PECelebrates
A celebration of community, cultures and Canada, takes place until July 1 in Prince Edward County. Details about the PECelebrates Festival are available on\u00a0The County\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Featured events include\u00a0REVEL: Celebrating Diversity<\/a>, the\u00a0Wellington Street Dance and Fireworks Show<\/a>, and Canada Day celebrations in\u00a0Picton<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Wellington<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The County Museums
The County Museums<\/a>\u00a0will be closed on Wednesday, July 1.<\/p>\n

\nMacaulay Heritage Park (23 & 35 Church Street, Picton) \u2013 Wednesday to Sunday 10 am \u2013 4 pm
\nRose House Museum (3333 County Road 8, Waupoos) \u2013 Friday to Sunday, 10 am \u2013 4 pm
\nWellington Heritage Museum (290 Main Street, Wellington) \u2013 Wednesday to Sunday 10 am \u2013 4 pm<\/p>\n

County Transit
County Transit will not operate on Wednesday, July 1.<\/p>\n
