{"id":109619,"date":"2026-06-30T03:47:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-30T03:47:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/109619\/"},"modified":"2026-06-30T03:47:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T03:47:09","slug":"white-cliff-diamond-drilling-extends-danvers-copper-zone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/109619\/","title":{"rendered":"White Cliff diamond drilling extends Danvers copper zone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wcminerals.com.au\/wcminerals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">White Cliff Minerals<\/a> (ASX:WCN) has reported more than 73m of visual copper sulphide mineralisation from its maiden diamond drillhole at the Danvers prospect within the Rae Copper Project in Nunavut, Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Diamond drillhole DAN26025 was positioned to test geological and structural controls near DAN26012, which returned 19.81m @ 6.64% <a href=\"https:\/\/mining.com.au\/commodities\/copper\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">copper<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The hole intersected over 73m of visual chalcocite and chalcopyrite mineralisation, extending the known footprint by approximately 50m to the northeast.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mining.com.au\/company\/white-cliff-minerals-limited\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">White Cliff<\/a> Managing Director Troy Whittaker says the first diamond drillhole into the Teshierpi Fault Zone has \u201cmaterially improved the company\u2019s understanding\u201d of the system\u2019s architecture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cImportantly, our first diamond drillhole into the Teshierpi Fault Zone has intersected more than 70m of copper sulphide mineralisation,\u201d Whittaker notes.<\/p>\n<p>DAN26020, collared 550m from the main zone at Danvers 1, returned 19.81m @ 0.72% copper from 111.25m, including 1.53m @ 2.39% copper and 3.05m @ 1.11% copper.<\/p>\n<p>The hole extends mineralisation southwest towards the 2026 discoveries on the Teshierpi Fault Zone.<\/p>\n<p>The Danvers 1 mineralised footprint now spans a strike of 1,037m.
