The move appeared on the CFL\u2019s transactions page on Monday and has subsequently been confirmed by a source to\u00a03DownNation.<\/p>\n<p>The 33-year-old joined Montreal\u2019s practice roster two weeks ago while veteran kicker Jos\u00e9 Maltos D\u00edaz was dealing with a groin injury. He also connected on 140-of-151 convert attempts (92.7 percent).<\/p>\n<p>Ward was named the league\u2019s Most Outstanding Special Teams Player and Most Outstanding Rookie in 2018. That same season, he earned All-CFL honours after converting 51-of-52 field goal attempts (98.1 percent) with a long of 52 yards.
