Canada Life has appointed Antonio Ribeiro (pictured) as head of distribution within its protection business, effective\u00a0immediately.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
In this newly created role, Ribeiro will\u00a0be responsible for\u00a0strengthening relationships with key adviser partners in the group protection\u00a0market,\u00a0and\u00a0lead the distribution team to ensure it is attuned to the evolving needs of employers and employees. <\/p>\n
He will also join the protection senior leadership team to support Canada Life\u2019s group protection growth and digitalisation ambitions.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ribeiro\u00a0has extensive relationship management experience in the UK financial services and technology markets. <\/p>\n
Most recently, he was CEO and founder of Yurtle, a\u00a0UK-based\u00a0insurtech\u00a0and employee wellness platform that helps minimise caregivers\u2019 absence from work. <\/p>\n
Prior to this, he held roles supporting business start-ups and\u00a0ventures, and\u00a0was client relationship manager at Legal & General Investment Management.\u00a0<\/p>\n
