{"id":113123,"date":"2026-07-02T14:46:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-02T14:46:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/113123\/"},"modified":"2026-07-02T14:46:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-02T14:46:08","slug":"iceye-expands-wildfire-intelligence-capabilities-to-canada-offering-new-tools-for-re-insurers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/113123\/","title":{"rendered":"ICEYE expands wildfire intelligence capabilities to Canada, offering new tools for re\/insurers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ICEYE, a company that operates the world\u2019s largest synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite constellation, has announced the expansion of its wildfire intelligence capabilities to Canada, a highly wildfire-exposed country.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-100527\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/canada\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/ICEYE_Logo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"360\" height=\"189\"  \/>Recent report from the Canadian Climate Institute highlight a surge in wildfire activity, noting that three of the most severe fire seasons on record have occurred within the last three years.<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, ICEYE\u2019s wildfire solution has become a much needed resource for insurers, as well as government agencies, and risk management organisations operating in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Insurers and reinsurers that use ICEYE\u2019s satellite constellation are able to access real-time, building-level intelligence during natural disasters, which includes wildfires as well as hurricanes, and floods.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With this launch, ICEYE now offers comprehensive wildfire intelligence in Canada, including near real-time monitoring and building-level damage assessment.<\/p>\n<p>This expansion adds Canada to the United States and Australia as the third major high-risk region supported by ICEYE\u2019s complete wildfire capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Among the suite of tools, ICEYE\u2019s building-level damage assessment is key for clients who require timely intelligence.
